Texas Stream Team

Texas Stream Team is a network of trained volunteers and supportive partners working together to collect water quality information. Established in 1991 as Texas Watch, Texas Stream Team is administered through a cooperative partnership between Texas State University, the TCEQ and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

H-GAC's Texas Stream Team database currently shows 108 volunteers collecting samples in 18 different watersheds. Fifty-two of the volunteers were certified after 2006.
